Stainless steel shot is highly suitable for the blasting of materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, zinc die-cast (zamak), brass, and copper, particularly because it leaves no corrosive residue on the surface after blasting. It is mostly preferred for coarse-textured parts and structures produced via casting, forging, and aluminum die-casting. Dust generation on the surface and in the working environment during the process is at a minimum level. It is compatible with both compressed air and wheel-blast (turbine) systems, and is most commonly utilized in automated wheel-blast machines.
